EJC Systems developed systems and provides support for an extensive research laboratory dedicated to automotive oils and additives. A variety of machine controls and data acquisition systems have been provided to permit unattended, "24/7" testing of formulations in conditions that simulate automotive operations. For example, controlled machines simulate clutch actions of automatic transmissions under variable load and environmental test conditions. This testing profiles coefficient of friction and allows researchers to continually try to improve the efficiency of automotive power trains. Through a networked facility and an array of custom software applications, this vast quantity of data is quickly reduced, test reports automatically prepared, and electronically delivered to scientists and managers.

Custom Automatic Test Equipment -
User configured test procedures,
Special report generator system
reduces large quantities of collected
data into customizable reports with
selectable tables and graphs. User
interface through familiar desktop
application programs.

Friction Machine Control System -
PC Based system utilizes custom
software to execute user defined
test sequences. Motors, pressure,
and operating temperature are
computer controlled. Test data is
dynamically recorded during tests
and reports generated following
test completion. Supervisory alarm
functions permit safe unattended
operation. Maintenance and
